Something Blue by Emily Giffin

Something BlueI read “Something Blue” before reading “Something Borrowed” and it worked for me. “Something Blue” is not a sequel to “Something Borrowed” and it’s absolutely my all time Giffin’s favourite.

It’s about Darcy Rhode, who think she is all that, beautiful and charming whose life gets turn upside down when her best friend, Rachel White, steals her fiance and she finds herself pregnant at the same time.

Darcy is a sassy, confrontational, spoilt and childish heroine but the way she is able to turn things around really got me cheering for her. This book is never boring, Ethan is a dreamy male character and you’ll find yourself falling for him just the way Darcy does.

Life it’s all about the power of true  friendship and the power of true love and it’s good to read a story that gives you such a deep link with characters that you find yourself wondering about yourself in the middle of their story.

My grade: 10/10
